Highlands Kids
- Replace and upgrade outdated and damaged equipment and increase family discipleship resources at each of our locations.
Highlands Youth
- Increase essential resources to improve both student safety and the quality of discipleship materials.
- Partner with Red Frogs to develop and equip Highfields State Secondary College’s breakfast club.
- Fund weekly bus transport to and from Toowoomba for Gatton teenagers so they can experience the impact of Youth each week, until a local Youth is launched.
HIGHFIELDS
In Highfields, we’re continuing to be a strong, life-giving church in the heart of a growing region. Week after week, we see people encounter Jesus, find genuine community, and step into the life and purpose He’s called them to. Your giving this Expansion season will:
- Refresh and revitalise Highfields’ Sunday environments through updated equipment, improved storage, and refreshed baptism spaces.
- Contribute to the long-term development of our permanent Highfields Campus.
GATTON
In Gatton, monthly services are now underway and the response has been incredible. Each gathering is filled with expectation, new faces, and people making decisions to follow Jesus. There’s a genuine hunger in the Lockyer Valley and we believe it’s just the beginning. Your giving this Expansion season will:

Red Frogs continue to be a vital part of how we love, serve, and safeguard the next generation — showing up in some of the most unexpected and influential spaces across Toowoomba, Gatton, and beyond.
LEAVING A LEGACY OF HOPE AND LOVE
BEAUTIFUL CRAZY
Some moments change everything. A single phone call can transform an ordinary day into one filled with uncertainty and fear. For families with a loved one in ICU, life can shift in an instant — with no time to prepare and no idea how long they’ll be sitting in that waiting room. In partnership with major hospitals across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria, Beautiful Crazy delivers thoughtfully prepared gift bags filled with essentials designed to meet physical, emotional, and mental needs for those waiting at the bedside of someone they love.
CONVOY OF HOPE
Disasters don’t wait for the right moment — they interrupt lives suddenly and without warning. In just the first half of 2025, Convoy of Hope has already responded to 36 disasters globally, including cyclones and catastrophic flooding across Queensland and New South Wales. In those moments of crisis, Convoy shows up fast — not just with empathy, but with action. Their teams provide emergency accommodation, clean water, hot meals, clean-up kits, and compassionate support that reminds people they’re not alone.
GLOBAL MISSION
VIETNAM
Highlands has partnered with the growing network of INC churches across Vietnam through Expansion in 2024, supporting over 90 churches, educational initiatives, and development projects that are lifting communities from survival to strength.
This year, we’ll continue sowing into that movement – including the ongoing outworking of a vital clean water project, support for education programs, and further development of local churches in both rural and urban areas.
MISSIONARIES
Through Expansion, we’re honoured to support two incredible missionary families who are making a tangible difference across the globe.
Christine Brodie serves as a Literacy and Education Advisor in the Asia-Pacific, helping children gain lifelong learning skills and the ability to read Scripture in their own language – opening doors just not to education, but to the gospel.
Nick and Suzanne Veltjens serve on Mercy ships in Madagascar, providing life-changing medical care to vulnerable children. Nick specialises in treating clubfoot and mentors local professionals so that this care can continue long after the ship departs.
By partnering with Highlands missionaries, you are helping transform futures and spread the hope of Jesus to the ends of the earth.
COMPASSION
The Compassion Survival Program steps into the critical window from pregnancy through to a child’s first birthday, providing life-saving support to both mother and baby through the trusted reach of local churches.
Through Expansion, Highlands has the opportunity not only to fully fund several 12-month Survival Programs, but also to help launch new Compassion Projects from the ground up in communities where no such support currently exists. By investing at this foundational stage, we don’t just meet urgent physical needs, we help release families from the cycle of poverty in Jesus’ name – not only as children grow, but even before they are born.
These projects provide tailored care: medical assistance, nutrition, birth support, and discipleship for mothers – all delivered by local churches that walk closely with each family.
