LOCKYER VALLEY
God is opening doors across the Lockyer Valley. What began as a monthly gathering has continued to grow, with new families finding community, people encountering the presence of God and disciples becoming more like Jesus. Through Expansion, we are preparing to move towards weekly services, creating greater consistency for discipleship, connection and mission across the region. This is about more than adding another service. It is about establishing a healthy, growing church that can serve the Valley every week and create pathways for more people to know Jesus.
HIGHFIELDS DEVELOPMENT
After five years of prayer, planning and faithful process, we are excited to announce that we will be breaking ground in Highfields in 2027!
This journey has been marked by discernment, preparation and a deep sense of God’s leading. Over the past five years, this has also involved countless meetings, planning and working through government approvals at both state and local levels. Throughout these years, we have seen Him continue to build His Church in this growing community. People are finding Jesus, families are discovering belonging, children and young people are being formed in faith, and new leaders are stepping into their purpose.
What began as a seed has continued to grow, and now we are stepping into the next chapter. Through Expansion, we are moving toward a permanent church home in Highfields. A place designed not simply to host services, but to create pathways for people to encounter Jesus throughout the week. We are believing for a home where generations can gather, worship, pray and grow together. A place where children can discover the love of Jesus, teenagers can build a faith of their own, families can find community, and people can be equipped to live as disciples in their everyday lives.
Today, it is our turn to build with tomorrow in mind, to sow seeds of faith that will bless people we may never meet and shape stories we may never fully see.

SAFEGUARDING A GENERATION
RED FROGS
Through Red Frogs, we’re able to connect with young people across schools, universities, sporting clubs, party environments and community events throughout our region. Every new partnership, conversation and connection creates an opportunity to support young people and share the hope of Jesus.

LEAVING A LEGACY OF HOPE AND LOVE
BEAUTIFUL CRAZY
This year, Highlands partnered with Beautiful Crazy to support ICU staff and families at Toowoomba Hospital, providing meals, coffees and care packs for those navigating difficult circumstances. New partnerships have also begun with St Vincent’s Hospital, creating opportunities to extend this support to even more families and frontline healthcare workers across our region.

CONVOY OF HOPE
When disaster strikes, Convoy of Hope partners with local churches to bring practical support to communities in need. From bushfires and floods to family crisis and recovery initiatives, Convoy provides food, water, essential supplies and ongoing care when people need it most. This year alone, Convoy of Hope supported communities affected by bushfires, floods and cyclones across Australia, while also helping women escaping domestic violence through programs such as Haven and Dress Her with Dignity.

GLOBAL MISSION
INC INTERNATIONAL
TOWARD 3000
Highlands is partnering with INC Global’s Toward 3000 vision. A bold, faith-filled strategy establish 10 church-planting schools in 10 regions around the world. These schools will train, equip and support church planters who understand their communities, speak their language and are ready to carry the Gospel into places where healthy churches are needed most. Together, these regions place more than two billion people (around a quarter of the world’s population) within reach of an INC church.
Through our Expansion giving, Highlands will help resource these schools with leadership development, evangelism and missions training, practical ministry preparation and ongoing mentoring. Church planters will be supported through regular check-ins, regional gatherings, site visits and networks of encouragement, while funding will be distributed through accountable regional processes focused on health and long-term sustainability.
RELEASING CHILDREN FROM POVERTY IN JESUS’ NAME
COMPASSION
More than 450 children are sponsored through Compassion by the Highlands family, helping provide education, healthcare, discipleship and practical support. Expansion also currently funds two Survival Programs in the Philippines and Indonesia, supporting mothers and babies through the critical first 1,000 days of life.

VIETNAM
Through our partnership with INC churches in Vietnam, we’re helping provide clean water, support growing churches and strengthen local communities. Expansion also supports global missionaries

FIRM
FIRM partners with churches and ministries across Israel and the Middle East, bringing practical support and the hope of Jesus to people living in some of the world’s most challenging environments. Even in difficult places, the Gospel continues to bring hope.
